Club Contest 23rd March 2011

This was our Spring 2011 club contest, exactly as seen live on twitter between 8 and 11pm.

#8887 #tm59 first speaker Djanira on 5 things we can learn from her cat, miau! Sleep, stretch, curiosity, have fun, live in the moment.

2nd David in Spanish about the four pillars of the ideal life project.

3rd speaker Sue about her grandmother Sister Lyn, karma, justice, every day is your birthday.

4th Dale on a case of aphasia, struggles, how life can change on a dime.

5th Cormac on the pharmacist at home, working things out in your relationship.

Target speaker for the evaluation contest: Patricia about the Pesero public transport in DF Mexico. Sounds like fun.

Evaluator 1 Liz "If Metro line 4 pulled up in a skirt, I don't know if I'd get on"

Evaluator 2 Maria on hand gestures, vocal variety, humour and the need for pauses.

Evaluator 3 Djanira about being entertained, laughing from the start, a big smile, using the space and getting more personal

Evaluator 4 Stefan on sympathy, good acting and painting a mental image to the audience.

Evaluator 5 Dale: a picture is worth a 1000 words, enthusiasm, energy and amazing gestures.

Evaluator 6 Judit with lots of praise and the advice to slow down and take a breath.

Evaluator 7 Marion about nervousness, speed, structure of 3, picking a great topic and simply "relax".
